About Granger Liu

Granger is a passionate classical pianist currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Piano

Performance at DePauw School of Music and minor in Film . From an early age, she was captivated by the expressive power of the piano, a fascination that led her to a career filled with competitive

achievements and artistic exploration.

Her commitment to excellence has been recognized through numerous national and

international awards. She has distinguished herself in competitions such as the Asian Piano Art

Festival, the China-Singapore International Music Competition, and the New York International

Music Competition, earning accolades in solo performance, four-hand duet, and specialized

repertoire categories. Notably, she secured first prizes in the Liszt 200th Anniversary

International Piano Open Competition and the China-Singapore International Music

Competition’s Chinese Works Group, among others.

She has played in diverse venues and events, demonstrating her versatility in both

classical and contemporary works. Her repertoire spans from the Baroque to Romantic and

modern compositions, showcasing her depth of interpretation and technique.

Beyond performance, she is deeply engaged in artistic disciplines including film

production, animation production, and fine arts. In her early years, she also studied ballet and

earned a Level 6 Ballet Certificate from the Beijing Dance Academy, an experience that enriched

her understanding of movement and artistic expression. Her creative endeavors aim to push

boundaries, offering audiences a rich and immersive experience that transcends traditional

performance.

Whether on stage or in collaborative projects, she remains committed to artistic

excellence, storytelling through music, and fostering a deep emotional connection with her

listeners.
